Shipping Your Order
A note about shipping and COVID-19
For the duration of the coronavirus crisis, there have been known shipping delays all over the world. These delays are well-documented and subject to change depending on the state of the crisis in my country, in yours, and along the way. If you have any questions or concerns about potential delays due to COVID-19, please get in touch!
Shipping Costs and Materials
We choose eco-friendly packing and shipping materials as often as possible to prepare and post your orders. Eco-friendly products often cost more to source, which results in slightly higher shipping costs. We firmly believe, however, that it’s the right and responsible thing to do, and we hope you’ll agree. The postage you pay to transport your order includes a small amount to cover these sustainable shipping materials.
For orders within The Netherlands:
€5.50 PostNL brievenbus / tracking included
Orders shipped via PostNL are generally delivered the next day.
€8.20 PostNL parcel / tracking included – for larger items that will not fit in a brievenbus pakket.
All orders will be sent via Deutsche Post or DHL with tracking.
For smaller letterbox packages up to 100 grams: €6.80
For smaller letterbox packages 101-360 grams: €7.50
For parcels: €8.50

Please Note: If express shipping is needed, please get in touch! If no shipping options appear for your mailing address or country, please get in touch and we will see what options are available for your location.
A Note about UK orders: Because of the ongoing confusion post-Brexit with the UK requirements for VAT registration and payments, I am not processing webshop orders to the UK at this moment. I do have a solution for my UK customers, so if you would like to make an order, please contact me via email and we’ll set it up!
Processing and Mailing Your Order
Handcraeft ships orders every day Monday-Friday. Orders placed over the weekend will be posted the following Monday. If a holiday falls upon a regular shipping day, orders will be shipped the following business day. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, and if you’ve chosen a method of delivery that includes tracking, tracking information will be provided.
Please be sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order. If you discover you’ve used the wrong address or made an error, please send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org straightaway to correct the error. If an order is returned to Handcraeft for the reason of insufficient or incorrect address, you will have the opportunity to pay to have it re-shipped, or receive a refund for the cost of the merchandise only. The shipping cost cannot be refunded in this case.
Duties and Taxes
Customers are solely responsible for any duty or tax that is due upon receipt of your package. Please check the rules and thresholds for ordering items from abroad; Handcraeft cannot provide this information. Customs forms must be accurate and complete, and all packages will be marked as merchandise. If an order is returned to Handcraeft because customs fees have not been paid, the price of the merchandise will be refunded, but the cost of postage cannot be refunded. Handcraeft is not responsible for delays caused by customs.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
Handcraeft complies with the applicable laws concerning the 14-day “cooling off” period for purchases of goods from our online shop. As a consumer, you are entitled to a reflection period of 14 calendar days, which begins the moment you receive your product. You may decide to return your product within this period of time without stating your reasons. You must inform Handcraeft of your intention to cancel the contract within 14 calendar days of the purchase.
Send an email with your notification of cancellation via email to: email@example.com.
You will then have 14 additional days from the date of notification to return your item(s). You may include the return form when you mail us your item(s).
Upon receipt of returned items, Handcraeft will process a refund as soon as possible, or within 10 days. Refunds will be processed using the same manner of original payment (credit card purchases will be refunded to the same credit card).
Please note that custom orders are not eligible for refunds.
You are responsible for return shipment costs, and items returned must be received in original packaging and condition to be eligible for a full refund.
If all items from your order are returned in the original packaging and condition, a full refund including original shipping costs paid will be processed.
If items have been damaged during transportation, please provide photos of the packaging and damaged items upon arrival. This information is necessary in order to file a claim with the transport or postal company.
If a portion of the items in your order, and not the entire order, is returned, the paid shipping costs will not be refunded, only the value of the items returned.
Handcraeft reserves the right to cancel an order if there are insufficient stock quantities, if it’s not possible to ship to your country, if there are disruptions to mail services due to COVID-19 or if an incorrect price was listed due to an error from our supplier. In such cases, you will be notified by email immediately, and we will process a refund for the affected item(s) as soon as possible.
